3/08/10: Dytecna Logo Dytecna, a UK based design and manufacturing supplier to the defence and commercial industries, have been long standing commited users of innovative technology in their IT systems, with much of it provided by Netmetix and have now upgraded the servers and storage at their Malvern site using the latest SAN and Blade technologies from HDS and HP.
5/07/10: Burgis & Bullock Logo Following the relocation of their Rugby office, leading local Accountants, Burgis & Bullock have been amongst the very first companies in the UK to implement the groundbreaking Talari Adaptive Private Networking technology.
Talari has allowed them to replace their costly SDSL connectivity with much more cost effective ADSL services. This has provided significantly increased effective bandwidth without compromising on resilience.
The new technology has also allowed them to secure a significant cost savings from day one.
23/06/10: Thomas Finlay WatsonWe are delighted to announce the birth of baby Thomas Finlay Watson to Steve, our Technical Manager and Michelle, our Office Administrator.
Thomas was born at 7:20am on Sunday 13th June at a healthy 7lb 3oz.
Michelle intends to return back to work after her maternity leave.
Thomas is Steve and Michelle's first baby.
17/06/10: HAV AirshipLong standing Netmetix client, Hybrid Air Vehicles of Bedford, hit the big time this week with an order from the U.S. Department of Defence (DoD) totalling over ½ Billion U.S. Dollars.
The contract in cooperation with Northrop Grumman is to build up to 3 new hybrid airship weapons system, just larger than the length of a football field.
As a result of this new contract, Netmetix has secured an order for a major upgrade of their entire IT systems in order to support the detail design and manufacture of these new vehicles.
The first air ship will take to the skies in just 18 months to provide an unblinking, persistent eye for more than three weeks at a time to aid U.S. Army troops in Afghanistan.

  • 26/04/10: Webster Last Friday saw the arrival of our new Guide Dog puppy Webster. He's an 8 week old Black Labrador, who is already showing signs of being a real character.
    He will be given a week or so to settle in at home before coming to join us at the office.
    22/04/10: Nuneaton and Hinckley based, multi-discipline accountants, Stewart Fletcher & Barrett have selected Netmetix to supply, implement and support a major upgrade to their computer network infrastructure at both of their offices. The new systems will provide the growing workforce at both offices with access to centralised client data and records, whilst also enhancing their existing security measures.

This mobile demonstration suite has all the latest Cisco Unified Communications equipment for live demonstrations on how Cisco can help bring a competitive edge to any business, and proved to be a great hit at the show.
    22/01/10: Biddle Air Systems LogoNuneaton based Biddle Air Systems have engaged Netmetix to provides network support and maintenance services for their company wide IT infrastructure at their UK head office.
